movies!

since i have been sick as hell here, i decided that i wouldn't try to do anything useful, because i knew nothing useful would get done.
so i caught up on some movies. :D
my sister rented aeon flux the other night, so we watched that.
sorely disappointed. as i experienced with underworld 2, one of the sure-fire ways to destroy a film is a random sex scene that doesn't fit with the plot line (or the characters). especially when it is with the established enemy at that point in the film, so you end up leaving the viewers thinking, "...wtf?"
that and several other events of the film left me wondering exactly who the hell the main character was supposed to be. her relationships with other characters in the film were totally ambiguous, so i really couldn't get a feeling about who she was or what she really stood for. she was kinda robotic in that sense...
so umm, yeah. it was rather difficult to keep up with sometimes, but i still ended up predicting the ending quite well. and there's no fun in that, is there?
we then moved onto batman begins... which was yum. <3
another comic-to-film gem that stayed intact during the transfer. lovely and made me happy. ...except for the end, where we got a couple glorious, painfully obvious shots of katie holmes's freaking NIPPLE PIERCINGS. either that, or she has four nipples. DDD: who in the costume department forgot to cover that up, man?!
waaah, and i could not remember who the hell morgan freeman was until i watched the credits... i was sitting there the whole time like, "WHO IS THAT GUY??!! I KNOW HIM!!" yeah, it bugged me.
and yes. movies have happened, so i think i'm going to go sleep now and hope my sicky germs are out of my system when i get up, because i really actually have to do stuff this weekend. D:
