jeez, i hope these places start calling me tomorrow about work. i put that i could work after may 20th on all my applications, so i guess it's not fair to get all worried about it yet because they usually don't start calling until then... but man, i am anxious to know if i'm going to get one of these jobs.
i've gotten turned down by two becuase they weren't hiring, and i still don't know if a third is going to go through or not... if i somehow manage to strike out on all seven, my karma must be really bad. _D_
but umm... in other news, i made $50 yesterday.
the hat sale at my high school went pretty well, considering it was my first and we didn't get a ton of traffic through there, really. i ended up selling $100 worth hats, so i made a dent in that amount we're sending to the enviromental organization. i hope.
however, i still have several left over, so now i'm stuck relying on the intarwebs to get them sold. i like them all, but i will never be able to wear them no matter how much i try... so they have to go.

now to get shop set up on the 'net. i think i need to work on more patterns and get better with my un1337 sewing skillz first, though.
to those who bought my hats (friends, mostly, becuase they're the only ones who even read this XD): lemme use your head for modeling! i'm working on setting up a website which will have hats 'n' more for sale, so having a wee gallery with fun photos of people actually wearing the hats generally helps the sales.
however, my time has to go to commission work i am so backed up on right now. someone randomly e-mailed me this morning about a commission, though... i feel loved! <3 hopefully i can catch up here in the next few weeks or so... still have a two-page comic to draw for someone. >n>;
