whoo, fastest grilled cheese sammich ever~!
i dunno, i'm probably slow on finding this out. i wrapped the sandwich in a pocket of wax paper and stuffed it in the toaster.
...only downside is that it smoked a lot, torched the paper, and now my kitchen smells like burnt crayons. but uhh... it tastes pretty damn good. and it didn't take forever like it normally does.
oh well. +3 amazing.
so umm... amc theatres called me back! i had an interview with them last night.
i am really really really eager for this job, at a lack for better words, but it's really my last hope. i don't expect that any of the other places are going to even call me back soon here...
in any case, i get paid 6.75 an hour and have GREAT hours. i can ask for full-time hours any week, if i wanted to. it sounds like i get to switch off working consession stands and usher work, so that's pretty awesome.
they said they had two more interviews that night and a couple tomorrow, and then he'd be making the 'phone calls out. so i am really anxious to find out. T^T i'm praying that the fact that they told me about training and everything (which would be this weekend) means i have a good shot at being hired.
maaaaan, i need this job. even though i am sooooo impatient to find out, i am happy that i will have this week free, at least. 'cause i have my first-ever real official portfolio review next week.
NERVOUS AS SHIT. i have to finish up two pieces and do another in order to meet requirements...but even then, it's really lacking in the observational work. maybe i'll reorganize my sketches and do some more and bring that along with me, too.
waah.
oh yeah, also discovered by accident that my computer has two more USB ports that i didn't know about. i bumped my chair against my harddrive and a panel that i didn't think was supposed to come off came off and wow! ports.
which is great, because i am so tired of switching out my only open port in back between my scanner, camera, and ipod. now i have plenty. XD
