i'm fucking sick of spam and bots!

since they are leeching my bandwidth with their pointless shit and all attempts i've made to keep them away have been utterly futile, i'm moving all blog-related stuff to my livejournal. since their stuff is more secure than my own hosting.
this blog, on the other hand, will only be kept for archival purposes. there will be no more updates here.

had another one of those lockdown drill thingies today.
no one takes them seriously. at all. it is mostly because there are so many blaring LOOPHOLES to the whole ordeal. even our teacher was all like, "ahh, whatever."
really, if the whole "someone walks in with a gun" scenario was real, we are royally fucking ourselves because we lock everyone into classrooms. SITTING DUCKS, MY FRIENDS. i know that i would take off for the parking lot and GET THE FUCK OUTTA THERE if someone was waving a gun around, rather than stick around to get shot through the glass in the doors.
i already ranted about this, so yeah.

anyway.
apparently even the administration finds this stuff bogus, because while the vice principal was congratulating us on a good job about being quick getting into classrooms or whatever, he said (and i quote), "everyone cleared out of the halls like church on sunday."

i have seriously never heard the administration make lighthearted jokes about ANYTHING. they are generally so hard-assed that even though this quote wasn't really funny, we all about died laughing. :'D

technology is really trying to piss me off today in oh-so stuble ways!

first things first: my computer decided to spontaneously update itself last night and then restart. WHILE MY IPOD WAS CONNECTED. and if any of you own one of these things, you know that is commiting suicide to your ipod's hard drive.
so, i get to school and realize that vincent is musicless and it was like, "NOOOOOOOO -withdrawl-" because it is super-hard to get through my day without some form of music. D:

though i had stuff to do at school, i went home at the end of the day (because i CAN) so i could fix up my ipod. when i sat down at my computer, thus began the series of updates...

zonealarm is out of date? ok, let's update that. reboot? ok.
so my ipod is unreadable? fine, fine. system restore, because it was empty anyway.
oh wait, quicktunes is out-of-date? ok.
and itunes released a new version? OK THEN.
itunes has to sync the thousands of music files i have on my computer? FINE WHATEVER!
now vincent needs an update? O-FREAKING-K!!

though, i'll have to admit, this new version of itunes is pretty slick. i can finally get all my album images to show up, along with GAMES. :D -totally bought tetris and pac-man-
but now i have to wait a million years for all my music to get back on this thing. :<

WHAT THE HELL MOM, exactly WHY are all the windows open on this gloriously 50F DEGREE DAY?
i have been freezing my ass off all night and will CONTINUE to freeze if i don't ninja off and shut them secretly. because y'know what? that's ridiculous.

in other news, i have a headache and i feel sort of poo-ish, but i think it is mostly because i am cold and i haven't slept too much so far this week. sigh.
so i am probably going to just go finish my homework, hop in the shower, and then go to bed. hoorah for melodrama.

IT IS SO COLD OUT, it's not funny.
seriously, we were enjoying 75F weather and then come yesterday, it drops to 50F. (it's only really annoying because my room gets really cold in the basement.)

uhh... in other news, i am procrastinating! fun times.
i'm supposed to be working on this thing for my drawing class, a couple of pictures. i did the other one friday/yesterday, but now i can't seem to get myself to finish this one. i keep wandering away from it...
IT'S REALLY BORING, THOUGH. i'm drawing like, the chair on my back porch. oooh. >_>

i was going to do something more interesting outside, but uhh, it's cold! so that is not happening.
apparently i have a quota of only one boring picture every few days. so i'll have to keep that in mind for umm, this week's assignments.

iunno, i have to kinda finish up in the next couple of hours because i'm stuck going to this baby shower for my aunt and uncle. family will be there. and you know how long those things drag on.
and class is tomorrowww. ugh.

but at least i have GOOD supplies now and everything i do won't turn out like total crap.

tgif, guys!

instead of sitting around twiddling thumbs at school today for the last class that i actually don't have anything scheduled for, i decided to leave school (THAT'S RIGHT, I CAN GO) and go sit at the caribou coffee nearby. where i doodled and did some homework for that hour and a half.
...which is pretty much the same thing i would've done had i been at school, except it was with CHAI TEA. and a better atmosphere. so it was a pretty awesome way to end the week and kick off my weekend.

...did i mention that my school schedule is totally AWESOME? :D

FREAKING BUUUUUU 18+ ONLY SHOWS.
i already figured placebo/she wants revenge would be 18+ because that's what they are, but GODDAMNIT I WANTED TO SEE THE DECEMBERISTS SO BAD.

the worst part about it is they are here FIVE DAYS before my eighteenth birthday.
no lols for you, first ave. no freaking lols.

(i am also slightly jealous of our because she gets to see it. why does canada rock? :<)

on a lighter note, i now own more douglas oneofthebestauthorsintheworld adams books and the art of hellboy. i had been uhh, holding my friend's copy hostage until recently for like, a year. ahaha.
